The FloPlus™ filter cartridge utilises a revolutionary new
technology expanding on the traditional
Fibredyne® Technology and the Radial Flow Technology, making it possible to obtain cyst
reduction in the Filter cartridge.
It functions like a nominal 10-micron Carbon cartridge while appreciating very low pressure drops and high flow rates.
Its efficiency is so high that a 0.5-micron rating is possible, which means that cysts
and very small particles can be removed to create cleaner, safer water.
This product also stands out to other Whole House Water Filters as it offers high flow and low pressure drop, excellent filtration capacity with infrequent cartridge changes and cyst-free water which normally cannot be achieved with ordinary Water filters.
'The best Carbon Water Filter'
Contaminant removal and water quality:
The Lifespring range comes with an excellent quality active carbon media - structured with a special technology to allow good flow while offering good filtration !
It removes a wide range of contaminants either by absorption or adsorption:
What is the difference between adsorption and absorption??
When a substance is attached to a surface is is called adsorption, in this case the substance is attached to the internal surface of active
carbon. When a substance is absorbed into a different medium it is called absorption.
Many removal processes with Active carbon happen in the process of adsorption.
Here is a list of the wide range of chemicals and sprays which will be removed to large degrees:
1.- Chemicals with very high probability of being adsorbed by active carbon:

Please note this water system won't be able to remove more than 25% fluoride. For drinking water we offer specialised fluoride filters >>
