It does not seem to matter whom you talk to at the moment, there are common themes of so much to do, busy-ness and challenge. We are taking the time in this newsletter to give some understanding about athletes and the benefits that they get from drinking ionised alkaline water. To me I think we are all the champions in our own lives, and equally need the support of the best body and mind to meet the demands. Ionised water is great support enabling the body the opportunity to de-stress. Stress creates the worst conditions in our body and encourages the right conditions for a plethora of illnesses to establish. In the longterm relieving acidity out of the body, caused by stress, means more even emotions and greater capability to maintain balance so helpful in these times. I live in a really hot part of my country. So it is important to hydrate and be hydrated. So I did not know anything about what good water was, up until I met a mate. And he explained to me that there was the issue of acidity and cluster formation of the water. I got a machine, and I could immediately tell the difference when drinking the water because you can feel in the throat, due to the way the water clusters. I suffered from muscle cramps my entire life, and I really noticed in the last 2 years from using the water, that my cramping is much much less. I still when I have really hard efforts, I can cramp, but it is nothing as it used to be. It used to be debilitating, now if I have it, I can still ride through it. But I always have one bottle because there is just nothing like water. The nice thing also was, my wife never was a big water drinker, and normally it was due to flavour and the acidity in the water and the whole thing, when swallowing it was not comfortable, and the minute she tasted this water, it was like a light that went on for her. What to Drink for Proper Hydration During Exercise
How much water is needed.....?

Staying hydrated is essential for everyone, but athletes have an even greater need to maintain proper hydration. Working out, we require several liters of water a day. Even without workout we ought to drink between 2-4 liters depending on the size of the body. Water is the most important nutrient for life and for our body. It has many important functions including regulating temperature, lubricating joints, and transporting nutrients and waste throughout the body.
Hydration During Exercise Adequate fluid intake is essential to performance, and safety. The longer and more intensely you exercise, the more important it is to drink enough water, and the right kind of fluid. With heavy work outs, it pays to take supplemental electrolytes.That in combination with ionised water would be ideal.

I was introduced to Alkaline water by my teammate Diego Sanchez(UFC Fighter) a couple years back. Since then I have always made a conscious effort to only use water with a PH level of 9.5. I notice many things including weight loss, greater endurance, and less lactic acid burn during my workouts. As an athlete, I find no supplement better than alkaline water. After all, our bodies are made up of an average 60-70% water. With that being said, it is extremely important to keep yourself hydrated. Alkaline water promotes longevity and over all well being. I am a personal trainer for the women’s gymnastics team, women’s soccer team, and men’s football team at the University of Alabama.
