Active Pure Bio
This system is designed to balance out the minerals in your water, its great as a stand alone system for various water sources and can help as pre-filtration for benchtop water ionizers when your water source requires a little extra help.
This system includes two cartridges:
-
Effective purification with the Active Pure Xtra - Carbon and KDF filter cartridge as pre-filter with a 1-year capacity.
-
Remineralization with the Bio Mineral Cartridge, which is packed with approximately 95 natural minerals and trace elements.

Product Specifications
Active Pure Xtra - Carbon and KDF - 1 Year
Utilizes a two-stage filtration process with active carbon and KDF media.
Removes trace metals like aluminum and lead, chlorine, and other contaminants through KDF oxidation/reduction.
Extends the lifespan of the granular carbon stage, enhancing overall filter efficiency.
Effectively removes organics, chemicals, tastes, and odors, improving the taste of water.
The KDF media is bacteriostatic, inhibiting the growth of bacteria within the filter bed, ensuring cleaner water.
Improves water safety by filtering out harmful substances and enhancing drinkability.
Specifications:
Installation Requirement: Requires a 10" slimline housing.
Capacity: 4-8,000 Litres or 10-15 months, depending on source water.
Hygienic Life: 2 years.
Filter Mesh Size: 5 µ micron.
pH Range: 5-9.
Pressure Rating: 60 PSI.
Flow Rate: Up to 2 Litre/ minute.
Bio Mineral Cartridge
Introduces approximately 95 natural minerals and trace elements to rainwater, soft water, and Reverse Osmosis systems.
Contains clay balls and Maifenite (wisdom stone), enriching water with essential minerals for health.
Enhances water quality by providing a wide range of minerals, including rare earth elements.
Aids in the absorption of minerals and nutrients, assists in eliminating toxic substances, and improves metabolism.
Counteracts the mineral depletion of rainwater and Reverse Osmosis water, making it safer and more beneficial for consumption.
Interesting Info & Recommendations:
Rainwater: Typically lacks minerals and is acidic. Long-term consumption without remineralization can leach minerals from the body.
Concrete Tank Storage: Alkalizes rainwater, offering calcium and magnesium minerals for ionization but has a limited range of minerals.
Reverse Osmosis Water: Stripped of minerals and acidic. Remineralization is necessary before ionization to restore its health benefits.
Remineralization Methods: Various methods available, such as adding mineral drops or using a bio-mineral cartridge to improve water quality and safety.
Active Carbon Efficiency:
Highly effective at removing chemicals and sprays through adsorption, including polar compounds such as phenols and their derivatives.
