#22U - Undersink Installation:

 When installed as an Under sink installation, then the Benchtop ionizer is placed under the bench usually in a cupboard. Then the outlet of the ionizer will be connected with a filter tap, which acts as a spout only. The water still needs to be turned on and off with the ionizer itself. Therefore the unit needs to sit prominent and easily reachable at the front of the cupboard and elevated. Ionza also has got two Undersink ionizer that can be controlled from the tap. >> Homay Undersink ionizer 150/W, this ionizer has got a semi automatic tap. This means the water can be turned on and off with the 3 way tap. However any change of the dials still need to happen on the ionizer itself, means the unit needs to be accessable. This is different with the fully tap controlled >>EOS Revelation water ionizer, where all the relevant controls are electronically switched in the tap itself. And the tap also has got a screen to monitor with ease and convenience all core functions. Of course there is a significant price difference found.

"The KYK Genesis is the editors choice because it is on-par or beyond the other water ionizers in terms of features, yet the cost of the unit and replacement filters are still the lowest. The old adage "you get what you pay for" doesn't apply in this comparison, as the cheapest unit seems to be the best as well. This was also the case in our previous water ionizer comparison, which compared less expensive, less feature-packed models from several brands.
