De-acidification of our body and how pH is relevant in our human body?
Most of us are aware of health statistics showing grim results and largely this boils down to one common issue. We are too acidic in our body!
And it is our cells who carry this problem in the first place. An over acidic body causes inflammation in parts of our body, which makes us more easily tired, grumpy and unhappy, and longterm dis-eased and sick.The issues by then are deep rooted in the body: intra-cellular and extra-cellular acidosis. Meaning the environment of our cells, inside and outside of our cells has become far too acidic.
An effective de-acidification is essential: we need to DETOX
But what is an effective de-acidification? It needs to address detox and de-acidify the exterior and interior environment of cells.

The earth longs for de-acidification too: De-acidification is important not only for us humans. Even our earth’s de-acidification is sorely needed.
Have you ever measured the pH of rainwater?
If not do it, and you will be amazed…. While unpolluted rainwater actually would reach values of 5.9pH (which is still acidic), polluted can measure today usually tremendously acidic values even between 4 and 5.
The acid rain threatens not only the forests but also the habitat of the crops and as a result, of course, the quality of our food. Long gone are the periods in which our food contains everyday important nutrients. The content of alkaline minerals, trace elements and vitamins is nowadays largely influenced by acid attacks from the environment as well as by over-fertilisation of agricultural soils. Due to acidification and loss of fertility of soils, it is increasingly causing disturbances in the health of people.
But where are the actual causes of the acidification of the human organism and how come there appears to be an inability in the body to independently launch de-acidification?
The main reasons include, among other things, a fundamentally bad diet and unbalanced eating habits (eating too late, too much fast food, insufficiently chewed food, stress etc), leading to an imbalance of acid-base balance, and ultimately to chronic acidosis. At the same time the body lacks permanent alkaline minerals that would prevent acidification and de-acidification could lead the way.
Consequentially we acidify more and more, UNLESS we make different choices, and Acidification is prevented
A natural de-acidification (which can be carried out by the body itself) is often prevented by other factors: lack of exercise, increased stress factors, indoor toxins and harmful environmental factors such as noise, emissions and electromagnetic pollution. In situations like these, the autonomic nervous system provides for increased acid secretion in the organism, resulting in a long-term acid overload. So this does not work.

So what is pH and which figures relate to acid or alkaline ? The pH scale starts at 0 for extremely acid and ends at 14 for extremely alkaline, while in the middle it is neutral at 7. Above 7 starts the alkaline range and below 7 the acidic range (see chart).
Surprisingly ... there are different pH levels in the body
- The secretion of the pancreas is by far pH 8.0 in the basic range. It serves to neutralize the acidified food in the stomach in the duodenum, so that the nutrients from the small intestines organism can be recorded.
- The intestine is with values of pH 8.0 or even more clearly in the basic range. If by fermentation or putrefaction of disturbed digestinve acids in the intestine arise, it gets rid of that interfering substances by diarrhea.
- The blood is pH 7.35 - 7.45 clearly in the basic range.
- Secretions from the liver and gallbladder are slightly basic with pH 7.1.
- The saliva pH is 7.1 to 7.0 weakly basic or neutral (in a healthy body state). When the body is overall acidic and in severe acidosis the pH results will be in the acidic range. An acidic saliva prolonged will damage teeth and gums over time.
- The connective tissue may be slightly more acidic than the blood. It has basic values of 7.08 and 7.29 measured here.
- The muscles of the organs and the cells have a value in the acidic range around pH 6.9. This is because the energy factory of our body cells operate around the clock. And in the processing or combustion of our nutrients it produces acid, in this case carbon dioxide. However, it is important for the cells to be constantly de-acidified. If the cells of our most important muscle, namely the heart sinks to pH 6.2, the heart stops.
- Urine is between distinctly acidic (pH 4.8) and alkaline (up to pH 8.0). Here the acid makes perfect sense, because it is removed in the urine from the body.
- The gastric juice is the dirtiest part of the human body, it is between pH 1.2 and 3.0. The hydrochloric acid formed in the stomach is essentially for the digestion of protein by means of the gastric juice enzyme pepsin, for the disruption of very solid food particles and to kill pathogens that enter the air we breathe or is swallowed with the food.
As we can see some organs need an acidic environment, while in the small intestine as well as in saliva, it must be neutral or slightly alkaline. When the acid-alkaline balance in the body is out of balance, then it comes to pH fluctuations and consequently to functional loss of the corresponding organs or areas. Further, since a large part of the immune system is located in the digestive system, it becomes clear why an over-acidic body has a serious effect on the general function of the body and respective organs.
De-acidification promotes the oxygen supply of the organism
The healthy blood is always slightly alkaline, with values from 7.35 to 7.45 are considered optimal. This value must be strictly adhered to, so that the blood can carry out its tasks in the body. One of the main tasks is to transport oxygen and nutrients that need to reach all parts of the body. Even small variations of these values would have serious disorders. A de-acidification leads to a healthy and accurate slightly alkaline pH of the blood and thus optimises oxygen supply of the organism.
Toxic waste landfills in your body ….
To stave off a damaging acid shock, the human organism can use so-called buffer zones. The buffer zones are located in the connective tissue. These acid surpluses can be landfilled. These can be washed away later by an alkaline flood from the body.
Alkaline minerals for de-acidification
If the organism stays permanently too acidic and is missing the alkaline support in the form of alkaline minerals, the flushing out of acids is prevented, meaning detox is not happening. At the same time, the organism tries to obtain the acid-alkaline equilibrium from the body's alkaline minerals to counter and neutralise corrosive acids and neutralize harmful.
Lack of acidification leads to disease

Drink plenty of alkaline, ionised mineral water ....
In order to detox and de-acidify cells, it pays to drink water with a smaller water cluster size. It is also called Micro water. Ionised alkaline water is smaller clustered, usually has 5-6 molecules per cluster as oppose to 12 – 15 molecules/cluster. This enables for H2O to reach into cellular walls more readily and hydrate and detox well. This is also particularly helpful when we are sitting a lot, as the fluid pressure of the body is not as strong as when we are exercising.
Defective acidification supports the physical decline
But what happens when the intracellular acidification is not working properly? For example, if there is already over-acidity in the extracellular region, the cells can not be adequately supplied with oxygen and nutrients. In addition, the removal of the acid metabolites of the cell does not occur to a sufficient degree. An over-acidification in the intracellular region can consequently lead to serious health problems, as the cells die or can degenerate. Prolonged cell degeneration can lead to the dreaded cancer to develop.
Problematic intracellular acidification
However, the de-acidification of the cell is not always easy, as the first biological barrier of the cell membrane must be overcome so that the bases at all transported into the cell interior and the acids can be excreted.
